Sussex agent expands new homes offering…
A West Sussex estate agency has unveiled its expansion plans after achieving a record £112million in new home sales in the past 12 months.
Michael Jones’ specialized Land and New Homes department will expand its geographic footprint after recording a 60% increase in revenue in one year.
The department has sold 160 new homes over the past 12 months.
The supply of new homes has been extended across its network of 10 offices in East and West Sussex liaising with the residential sales team at each branch.
These include Worthing, Lancing, Findon, Goring, Ferring, Rustington, Hove, Kemptown, Preston Park and Brighton Marina.
The dedicated team said the surge in demand for new homes in the wake of the pandemic, particularly family homes in more rural areas, showed no signs of abating.
About two out of three of his sales over the past year have been to these properties.
Amid rising energy bills, the new home trend is also being supported by a growing appetite among Sussex homebuyers for modern properties that are cheaper to manage, the agency said.
Max Harbron, Associate Director of New Homes for Michael Jones, said: “With over 30 years of experience, working with independent developers large and small, we have become the market leading local estate agent.
“Our development advisory work ranges from advising clients on the delivery of large-scale developments, to evaluating homebuilder portfolios for acquisition and divestiture.
“We now have a solid launch pad to bring our services to homebuilders in new territories.
“Developers can draw on our sales and marketing expertise in this sector, as well as an aligned and connected branch network, which is expected to expand further in 2022 and beyond.”
