Touch PR launches digital marketing arm Oasis Communications

Touch PR launched a creative digital marketing arm, Oasis Communications. Vincent Ong (pictured left), co-founder of Oasis Communications, said INTERACTIVE-MARKETING that while it is certain that there are many powerful players in the market, the new agency will bring added value to Touch PR clients who may need social, digital and content support. With Touch PR progressing steadily, Ong felt the time was right to branch out and provide an integrated offering to its clients.

According to Ong, the USP of Oasis Communications is its deep know-how and understanding of consumer lifestyle activities in the Southeast Asian region, as well as knowledge on how to engage and to speak to Millennials and Gen Z. Oasis Communications currently handles social content curation, influencer management, professional photography and videography, among others, for Voost, a new health supplement brand from P&G. He also creates social media content for cookware brand WMF.

He added that he looks forward to following PR and influencer trends, from “Instagram Reels creativity and videos, to TikTok to gaming trends” and more.

Additionally, Oasis Communications is also looking for a Creative Director and Senior Digital and Content Executive. Ong said that while the agency has a “wish list” of skills it is looking for, it would like to know what applicants have to offer.

On the other hand, Touch PR has had some account wins over the past few months. Earlier this year, Starbucks appointed Touch PR for one year with a term option following a pitch. Touch PR would be responsible for driving the brand’s media relations, social media activations and content creation to amplify its brand messaging and launches. Meanwhile, Indonesian cosmetics and skincare brand Wardah Beauty tapped Touch PR for its campaign in Malaysia. Other beauty brands represented by the agency include Skin Inc and Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare.

Regionally, Touch PR’s belt extends to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand with partnerships with global brands such as Rihanna’s own beauty and skincare line, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin which have championed inclusivity in the beauty industry, the agency said. Other beauty brands also include skincare giant Ole Henriksen, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Bvlgari fragrances.

The agency scored its first beauty wins in April 2020, when it scored five new wins in the beauty and fashion industry. The wins included brands such as luxury brand Bvlgari, retailer Guardian Health and Beauty, skincare brands Caudalie and Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare and cosmetics brand Milani.
